Description
The 2-inch valve allows for greater flow while the deep sand bed delivers stronger filtration. Water moves evenly across the whole sand surface without sand migration or channeling.
The blow-molded tank of the SFTM Top Mount Spool Sand filter is UV-resistant and corrosion-resistant. Winterization and draining become easy through the combo water/sand drain near the bottom of the tank. The 7-position dial vale port allows pool owners to transition between filtration modes quickly (e.g., filter, rinse, backwash, closed, etc.). The dial valve rotates a full 360 degrees, enabling no-fuss installation, alignment, and service. The freeze-resistant under-drain contains folding laterals which distribute water evenly across the sand bed’s diameter. This allows for greater flow volumes, enhanced filtration, longer cycles, and more streamlined backwashing. Unions and adapters are included with the filter equipment, so users do not have to purchase additional parts.
This SFTM Top Mount Spool Sand filter measures 24-inches tall with a 19-inch footprint. Its 8-hour capacity is 29,760 gallons.
